ASTON, PA. -- The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) has named a total of 724 student-athletes to the Winter/Spring 2017 CSAC All-Academic Team. The CSAC All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a grade-point average of 3.2 or better during their semester of competition, while using a full season of eligibility as determined by the NCAA in the sports of men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, men's and women's lacrosse, golf, men's tennis, and men's and women's outdoor track & field.
The list of Spring CSAC All-Academic Team honorees exceeded last spring's total by 47 student-athletes.
Overall, Gwynedd Mercy was third with the number of all-academic selections with 85. Marywood was first with 128 and Immaculata was second with 105. Neumann (76), Cabrini (67) and Keystone (65) rounded out the top six.
"Each one of these student-athletes should be commended," said CSAC Commissioner Adrienne Mullikin. "It is great to see that so many have excelled not only athletically, but also academically. These student-athletes truly demonstrate the NCAA Division III philosophy of enjoying a full collegiate experience, and they more than deserve this recognition."
Over 130 Winter/Spring All-CSAC selections were named All-Academic in their respective sports.
